What insurance does Komeo accept?
Komeo is an out-of-network provider and accepts out-of-network insurance benefits.

Why is Komeo out of network?
We want to provide the highest quality of care with as much autonomy as possible with your functional goals in mind. In order to stay true to our treatment philosophy, our sessions are one on one, for one hour. This allows us to provide high quality plan of care for every patient.
With attention to detail and customized plan of care, we will get faster results over less volume/frequency of visits.
How much will my evaluation/treatment cost?
Upon verifying eligibility and benefit information from your insurance, we will be able to provide estimated out-of-pocket costs. We are fully transparent before the initial visit to ensure agreement of financial responsibilities. If you do not have out-of-network benefits, we have a direct payment plan that will match your treatment plan.
Do I need a prescription for services at Komeo?
No. NJ is a direct access state for Physical Therapy services and does not require a prescription from a physician to commence treatment.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
We want to know your full story. Every detail matters as it may be a contributing factor to your complaints and ailments. The more we know about you, the more we can help you. You will be consulted with one of our team members for in-depth history taking.
You will also be evaluated and assessed using our cutting-edge technology equipment to analyze your posture, center of gravity, muscle mass, body fat %, and more. Various functional movement and strength tests will also be performed to identify any discrepancies and weak links of your body. First session will mainly focus on assessing your body and formulating a proper plan of care for you.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your initial visit with the following: your insurance card, photo ID, complete initial evaluation form, recent imaging, relevant records, and prescription list.
Please wear gym attire that will allow visible access to the areas of complaints/pain for assessment and evaluative purposes.
